Camila Pazos (Argentina)
ES Es historiadora del arte y curadora, graduada con honores en Artes Plásticas por la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Desde el 2019 trabaja como coordinadora de artistas en el Festival Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo en Pueblo Garzón, por lo que comienza a transitar entre Buenos Aires, Montevideo y Maldonado, forjando lazos entre ambos lados del río de La Plata. También ha sido investigadora de colecciones privadas regionales, colaboradora en revistas de arte, investigadora y escritora de arte contemporáneo.
Actualmente vive y trabaja entre Montevideo y José Ignacio, en Uruguay.
EN Is an art historian and curator, graduated with honors in Fine Arts from the University of Buenos Aires. Since 2019, she has been working as an artist coordinator at the International Contemporary Art Festival in Pueblo Garzón, thus moving between Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Maldonado, forging links across the Rio de La Plata. She has also been a researcher for regional private collections, a collaborator in art magazines, and a contemporary art researcher and writer.
She currently lives and works between Montevideo and José Ignacio, Uruguay.
Renzo Gianella (Perú)
ES Curador, gestor cultural y músico peruano. Trabaja como director artístico de proyectoamil, una plataforma fluida no comercial de arte contemporáneo que tiene sus bases en Perú y Suiza. Fue director de una importante colección privada, fundador de la galería Revolver y ha manejado la carrera de destacados artistas y curado relevantes proyectos de arte. Algunas de sus exposiciones recientes son: “Colapso gravitatorio” (2019) del artista mexicano Yoshua Okón; “Haciendo Contexto IV”, un laboratorio de arte contemporáneo para artistas emergentes y “Looking Forward”, una muestra online donde diversos artistas de proyectoamil (Rosa Barba, Sheila Hicks, Luz María Bedoya, Richard Tuttle y José Vera) comparten de diferentes maneras sus perspectivas sobre la situación actual.
Actualmente vive y trabaja en Oakland, California.
EN Renzo Gianella (Peru) is a curator, cultural manager, and Peruvian musician. He works as the artistic director of proyectoamil, a non-commercial fluid contemporary art platform based in Peru and Switzerland. He was the director of an important private collection, founder of the Revolver gallery, and has managed the careers of prominent artists and curated significant art projects. Some of his recent exhibitions include: “Gravitational Collapse” (2019) by Mexican artist Yoshua Okón; “Making Context IV,” a contemporary art laboratory for emerging artists; and “Looking Forward,” an online exhibition where various artists from proyectoamil (Rosa Barba, Sheila Hicks, Luz María Bedoya, Richard Tuttle, and José Vera) share their perspectives on the current situation in different ways.
He currently lives and works in Oakland, California.
María Catarina Duncan (Brasil)
ES Curadora de Solar de Abacaxis y productora cultural. Graduada en Historia del Arte por el Goldsmiths College de Londres. Sus proyectos están enfocados en las prácticas culturales de Latinoamérica. En 2021 recibió la beca de investigación curatorial del Instituto Patricia Phelps de Cisneros y el MoMa con el proyecto Territorial “Re-connections”. Ha sido parte de diversos equipos curatoriales, entre ellos, de la 32° Bienal de São Paulo y del 36° Panorama de Arte Brasilero - Sertão en el Museo de Arte Moderno de Sao Paulo (2019). Fue curadora de los programas públicos de la instalación “Cur Bra Cura Té” de Ernesto Neto en la Pinacoteca de Sao Paulo (2019), de la “Plataforma Crítica Oficina Brennard” en el Instituto Brennand (2020), entre otros.
Como curadora independiente ha desarrollado múltiples exhibiciones.
EN María Catarina Duncan (Brazil) is the curator of Solar de Abacaxis and a cultural producer. She graduated in Art History from Goldsmiths College in London. Her projects focus on the cultural practices of Latin America. In 2021, she received the curatorial research grant from the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Institute and MoMA with the project "Territorial Re-connections." She has been part of various curatorial teams, including the 32nd São Paulo Biennial and the 36th Panorama of Brazilian Art - Sertão at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (2019). She was the curator of the public programs for Ernesto Neto's installation “Cura Bra Cura Té” at the Pinacoteca de Sao Paulo (2019), the “Critical Platform Brennard Office” at the Brennand Institute (2020), among others.
As an independent curator, she has developed multiple exhibitions.
Laura Cortés Hesselbach (México)
ES Es historiadora del arte egresada de la Universidad Iberoamericana. Con más de ocho años de experiencia en materia de gestión cultural. Actualmente es directora de SOMA, asociación civil sin fines de lucro, fundada en la Ciudad de México en noviembre del 2009 por un conjunto de artistas que se unieron para generar una plataforma única dedicada al intercambio cultural y la enseñanza de las artes. A lo largo de su carrera, Laura se ha especializado en el desarrollo de programas públicos, residencias, alianzas estratégicas y vinculación internacional, para el fortalecimiento de la educación artística, así como el desarrollo de estrategias de procuración de fondos para organizaciones de la sociedad civil.
Magnolia de la Garza (México)
ES Es la actual directora de la Colección Coppel. Trabajó como investigadora de la Colección de Arte de Fundación Televisa y en el Museo Nacional de Arquitectura de México. De 2008 a 2013 fue curadora asociada en el Museo Tamayo, donde trabajó con diversas exposiciones individuales de artistas como Monika Sosnowska, Michael Stevenson, Pia Rönicke, Amalia Pica y Carlos Amorales. Además, co-curó varias exposiciones colectivas. En 2014 fue una de las curadoras de la XVI Bienal de Fotografía del Centro de la Imagen.

EN Is the current director of the Coppel Collection. She worked as a researcher for the Fundación Televisa Art Collection and at the National Museum of Architecture in Mexico. From 2008 to 2013, she was an associate curator at the Tamayo Museum, where she worked on various solo exhibitions of artists such as Monika Sosnowska, Michael Stevenson, Pia Rönicke, Amalia Pica, and Carlos Amorales. She also co-curated several group exhibitions. In 2014, she was one of the curators of the XVI Photography Biennial at the Image Center.
She currently lives and works in Mexico City, Mexico.
Wustavo Quiroga (Argentina)
ES Gestor cultural, investigador, curador y editor especializado en Arte y Diseño. Tiene interés en las diversas áreas del diseño (audiovisual, gráfico, de indumentaria, industrial, web) la comunicación, marketing, paisajismo, branding, diseño de moda y motion graphics. Es responsable de la formación de Colecciones argentinas de arte, diseño y arquitectura, bajo lineamientos de rescate patrimonial y la puesta en valor. Desde el 2013 es presidente de la Fundación del Interior. También es coordinador del área de diseño del Centro Cultural de España en Buenos Aires. Entre el 2006 y el 2016 fue Director del Museo en Construcción.

EN Is a cultural manager, researcher, curator, and editor specializing in Art and Design. He is interested in various areas of design (audiovisual, graphic, clothing, industrial, web), communication, marketing, landscaping, branding, fashion design, and motion graphics. He is responsible for forming Argentine collections of art, design, and architecture, under guidelines for heritage rescue and valorization. Since 2013, he has been the president of the Interior Foundation. He is also the coordinator of the design area of the Cultural Center of Spain in Buenos Aires. Between 2006 and 2016, he was the Director of the Museum under Construction.
He currently lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Martin Hubberman (Argentina)
ES Diseñador egresado como arquitecto de la Universidad de Buenos Aires en 2006. Volcó sus inquietudes respecto a la profesión en el estudio Normal, una oficina experimental de arquitectura y diseño. Desde entonces, articuló un lenguaje propio para investigar, narrar y echar luz sobre aspectos invisibles que hacen a la epistemología de la disciplina. En 2012, puso en práctica su militancia profesional como agenda creativa y fundó la galería Monoambiente, un proyecto que indaga las nuevas formas de exhibir y de pensar el quehacer profesional. Como director y curador principal, se enfoca en recuperar el espacio perdido de las disciplinas del diseño en la activación cultural de la ciudad y comunica y difunde la obra de arquitectos y de diseñadores contemporáneos de la región.

EN Is a designer who graduated as an architect from the University of Buenos Aires in 2006. He channeled his concerns about the profession into the studio Normal, an experimental office of architecture and design. Since then, he has developed a unique language to investigate, narrate, and shed light on the invisible aspects that contribute to the epistemology of the discipline. In 2012, he put his professional activism into practice as a creative agenda and founded the Monoambiente gallery, a project that explores new ways of exhibiting and thinking about professional practice. As director and main curator, he focuses on recovering the lost space of design disciplines in the cultural activation.
Eugenio Viola (Italia)
ES Director artístico y crítico de arte nacido en Italia. Desde el 2009 hasta el 2016 trabajó como curador en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Nápoles.Fue responsable de las investigaciones y el desarrollo de la colección del museo, y co-curador de las primeras exposiciones de gran escala en Italia de Boris Mikhailov, Francis Alÿs y Daniel Buren. En 2014, la revista de arte británica Apollo consideró que Viola era “uno de los jóvenes más talentosos e inspiradores que están impulsando hoy el mundo del arte”. En 2016 fue reconocido por la revista Atribune como “el mejor curador italiano”. Ha trabajado como curador invitado para diferentes instituciones internacionales, donde curó exposiciones individuales de artistas como Regina José Galindo (Frankfurter Kunstverein, Alemania, 2016); Marina Abramovic (PAC Contemporary Art Pavilion, Italia, 2012); y ORLAN (Musée d’art moderne et contemporain - MAMC, Francia, 2007), entre otros.
Desde el principio de su carrera, Viola ha estado interesado en artistas latinoamericanos y ha trabajado con varios de ellos.

Jorge Rivas (Estados Unidos)
ES Es curador en el Museo de Arte de Denver, historiador de arte y diseñador industrial. Obtuvo su Licenciatura en Arquitectura en la Universidad Central de Venezuela, Especialización en Diseño Industrial en la Universitá degli Studi di Firenze, y su Maestría en Filosofía en el Bard Graduate Center, en donde está llevando a cabo su Ph.D. Ha escrito ampliamente y ha sido curador de numerosas exposiciones de arte colonial español y de diseño latinoamericano del siglo XX. Entre sus exposiciones de diseño recientes se encuentran “Moderno: Design for Living in Brazil”, “Mexico, and Venezuela, 1940–1978” (2015) y “Cornelis Zitman: 1947-1957 la década del diseño” (2011).
Actualmente vive y trabaja en Denver, Estados Unidos.
EN Is a curator at the Denver Art Museum, an art historian, and an industrial designer. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Central University of Venezuela, specialized in Industrial Design at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, and obtained his Master's in Philosophy from the Bard Graduate Center, where he is also pursuing his Ph.D. He has written extensively and curated numerous exhibitions on Spanish colonial art and 20th-century Latin American design. His recent design exhibitions include "Moderno: Design for Living in Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela, 1940–1978" (2015) and "Cornelis Zitman: 1947-1957 the design decade" (2011).
He currently lives and works in Denver, United States.
Pablo León de la Barra (México)
ES Nació en Ciudad de México en 1972. Obtuvo su Ph.D. en Historias y Teorías en la Architectural Association de Londres. Desde el 2013 es Curador para América Latina del Museo Guggenheim en Nueva York y es responsable de la adquisición de obras de artistas del continente para la misma institución. Fue Curador Jefe del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Niterói, Río de Janeiro (2016-2020) y Director de la Casa França-Brasil en Río de Janeiro (2015- 2016), y fundador y co-curador de la 1a y 2a Bienal Tropical, San Juan, Puerto Rico (2011 y 2016). En el 2012 recibió la primera Beca de Viaje e Investigación de Independent Curators International / Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros para América Central y el Caribe en honor a Virginia Pérez Ratton. También forma parte de los consejos asesores de la Fundacion Luis Barragán, México; Nasher Sculpture Prize, Dallas; Caribbean Art Initiative, Basel; y es presidente del jurado de los Prince Claus Fund Impact Awards, Holanda.

EN Born in Mexico City in 1972, he earned his Ph.D. in Histories and Theories at the Architectural Association in London. Since 2013, he has been the Curator for Latin America at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, responsible for acquiring works from artists across the continent for the institution. He served as the Chief Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro (2016-2020), and Director of Casa França-Brasil in Rio de Janeiro (2015-2016), and was the founder and co-curator of the 1st and 2nd Tropical Biennial, San Juan, Puerto Rico (2011 and 2016). In 2012, he received the first Travel and Research Grant from Independent Curators International / Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection for Central America and the Caribbean in honor of Virginia Pérez Ratton. He is also a member of the advisory boards of the Luis Barragán Foundation, Mexico; Nasher Sculpture Prize, Dallas; Caribbean Art Initiative, Basel; and is the president of the jury for the Prince Claus Fund Impact Awards, Netherlands.
He currently lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Juvenal Ravelo (Venezuela)
ES Estudió en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Aplicadas de Caracas, Sus murales se encuentran en diferentes ciudades como París, La Habana, Caracas y Estambul. Desde su llegada a Francia, en 1964, se interesó en explorar el lenguaje abstracto-cinético que entonces estaba en boga. En sus 40 años de trabajo pudo representar al país galo en la V Bienal Internacional de París (1967) y al pabellón Venezuela la VI Bienal Museo Arte Moderno de París (1969). Ha realizado innumerables exposiciones en Estados Unidos, Europa y América Latina. En el 2008 obtuvo el Premio Nacional de las Artes de Venezuela, a través del arte de participación en la calle.
En abril de este año, Juvenal Ravelo va a representar a Venezuela en la 60° Bienal de Venecia.
EN He studied at the School of Plastic and Applied Arts in Caracas. His murals can be found in various cities such as Paris, Havana, Caracas, and Istanbul. Since his arrival in France in 1964, he became interested in exploring the abstract-kinetic language that was in vogue at the time. Over his 40 years of work, he was able to represent France at the V International Biennial of Paris (1967) and the Venezuelan pavilion at the VI Biennial Museum of Modern Art of Paris (1969). He has held countless exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. In 2008, he received the National Arts Award of Venezuela, through street participation art.
In April this year, Juvenal Ravelo will represent Venezuela at the 60th Venice Biennale.
