Proyecto Marisol was born on march 2019, this autonomous and independent art space will debut in international fairs at Ch.ACO -11 within experimental latin american art section, PLANTA, which will be curated by Matías Allende. We talked with Enrique Flores and Javiera Gómez, directors of Proyecto Marisol, to know more about what their show at Ch.ACO -11.

What means Ch.ACO for you?
“As a project we dedicated to share and work -with the artists who exhibit in the space- we look for development new languages and contemporary approaches which take the context under gallery was created, that is self- management, collaboration and empathy. Ch.ACO is an opportunity to show our artworks and expand the diffusion spectrum of our project”.

What means for you being part of PLANTA section?
“We think PLANT is a challenge allow us to share and know others projects, the majority of this projects are independent works in different territories and contexts, with artists who makes their own networks”.

Why did you choose the artists who come to Chaco-11?
“We choose a group of artists whose work is characterized by the same optimism the space have. Also, each artist has proposed different exhibitions ways of the commons instances, creating alternative spaces or producing collective work in others ways. This spirit of make parallel narratives to conventional narratives is very visibility at the artwork of each one too, and its result is very interesting”.

Which is the hallmark of Proyecto Marisol?
The project is characterized by wide proposals. We are open to receive new and different types of languages and art disciplines. From self management we keep collab relations with artists and groups which understand how we work directly and symmetric way.
